It is our hope that the four DIOSA™ Internet domains, beyond offering useful products, information, and inspiration, will also help visitors understand and improve our world.

We need to understand where we are before we plan our future. In just a few thousand years, human cultures have transformed from nomadic tribes into large agricultural communities into vast military/industrial complexes which now scour the Earth for its remaining natural resources. Ancient religions which had included maternal authority and a “family circle” of gods and goddesses were replaced by a single all-powerful deity — often merely a king who had felt insecure with his original mandate.

Along the way, our “moral values” have sacrificed cooperation and diversity in favor of greed and conformity. Many people today preach that unrestrained commercial and energy monopolies are “good for business.” Others proclaim that their God forgives “necessary” civilian deaths in time of war and sees some difference between state-sponsored terrorism versus ordinary murder. Few people step outside their borders and their limited beliefs to embrace and protect the variety of human life.

To create a better future, we need to restore balance in our daily lives, as well as in international politics and the distribution of wealth. We must learn from each other, and we must be willing to accept our differences. It is tempting instead to rely on military conquest and blind faith in any single philosophy, but the truth is that these have become the problem, no longer the solution.
